Letters to People Who Will Probably Never Read Them

Dear Mr. Newman,

I'm not sure if it's the all natural ingredients - how the sweet taste of pineapple mingled with all spice makes such a delicious combination. Sometimes I think it might be how much I loved your character in The Sting. (Seeing your face on the jar when I partake of the salsa-like paradise you have created in a 16 oz jar.) Or is it the fact that all profits from this delectable jar of salsa are donated to charity? Maybe it's all of these.

Your salsa, sir, moves me. When I open a jar of Newman's Own Medium Pineapple Chunky Salsa, I am taken away. Taken to a place where Hawaii decided to come visit Mexico for a vacation. They shopped together, went to the beach together and shared memories and pictures together. A vacation of deliciousness. The souvenir is for everyone to enjoy. A lovely concoction is put on the shelves of grocery stores everywhere.

So thank you Mr. Newman. Thanks for making my lunch time a little more lunchier. And ripe with salsa love.

Sincerely,

Kara D.G.
