Honesty and Freeze Tags

I just read a post from Mindy's blog about her deciding to be more honest in her blogging. I like that attitude. I'm sure I hold back a little. Am I a tagger? Who knows. Read on if you must.

We've all seen these, if someone tags you, you need to do it. I believe there is a rule that if you don't you will have bad luck for the next 5 years and all your friends will disown you and Bill Gates will deposit 450, 394 dollars in your bank account. I didn't think it was my style, but Brooke tagged me and I really like Brooke. Why do I feel like I am insulting her if I don't do this? She would say that is silly, of course that is not true. We would still be friends if I didn't do it. But really? For some reason I feel like a rude person if I don't. Truthfully that answer alone is why I chose to do this. But it was actually quite fun to answer questions about my super man. Love ya baby!

1. Where did you meet? Job interview for selling Cutco knives. I called him "Mr. Gallagher."

2. How long did you date for?
We are still dating yo. (Collective "aaahhh.")

3. How long have you been married?
Three years plus some months.

4. What does he do that surprises you?
Offer to clean toilets in places we have had to live temporarily that the previous occupants did not clean. He's never been sexier.

5. What is your favorite feature about him?
Just one? Hard. But my final answer is his eyes. His eyelashes have the power to secure diplomacy between two feuding nations.

6. What's your favorite quality about him?
Again, just one? Too hard. Listing more than one... his ambition, confidence, vulnerability, he makes me laugh daily, and in my book he holds several trophies for world's best cuddler. This is not a joke. He is the greatest cuddler ever, in the history of the world. Ever.

7. Does he have a nick name for you?
Yes. But he doesn't use it around other people. It's not inappropriate, it's just so sweet I don't want to share it on the blog-o-rama. It seems to diminish it if I just put it out there for everyone to know. But I would probably tell you in person if you asked me.

8. What is his favorite color?
Blue.

9. What is his favorite food?
Lobster. I hope no one hacks into his bank account, I think this might be a security question.

10. What is his favorite sport?
Football. He was a super duper free safety in high school. He also breaks ankles in the local church scrimmage/pick up flag football games. Last Thanksgiving he looked like Reggie Bush against the other has beens of the football world. And he's got a cannon. Sixty yards. Not bad for an old guy. He's currently in trade negotiations with a certain flag football team that, per contractual obligations, I am not allowed to mention.

11. Who said I love you first?
Umm, tricky question. This honesty thing is harder than I thought. Whew. I never actually got around to saying it because I started being all girly and emotional but then he said, "I love you too."

12. When and where was your first kiss?
After watching a play-off football game together at his
house in January of 03. What?! Almost 6 years ago?

13. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Crashing Alabama Alumni football parties
and cheering with them, "Oh yes it's great to be from Alabama. Yes it's great to be from Alabama! Go Bama!" And some other stuff.

14. Do you have any kids?
Yes, we're just not sure where they are or when they will be here.

15. What is a hidden talent of his?
He can multiply very large numbers in his head quickly.

16. How old is he?
Seven times four.

17. What is his favorite kind of music?
County and Rock and Roll baby.

18. What do you admire about him?
He's a real man. He honors the promises he made with God and he takes good care of me.

19. What is his favorite pastime?
"This is Sports Center." Duh duh duh, duh duh duh! (No, I don't think Sport Center is dumb, that is my attempt at recreating the opening song.)

20. Do you think he is going to read this?
He actually looks at my blog more than I thought.

And I am putting a freeze tag on my tag. It will be in affect until the house and senate can come together to negotiate a bail-out package for the tag crisis in our nation right now.
