SUPER BOWL of chips

I'm a week late on anything related to a bowl that is really super. But I had to record this for posterity.

The following is a conversation I could not help overhearing while waiting in line at Hobby Lobby. The conversationers? (It's a word. Don't look it up though. Just trust me.) A young couple who appear to be in their early 20's. Both sporting matching BYU hats and t-shirts. It took place the Saturday before the Super Bowl.

Man: So, who's bringing the chips tomorrow?

Woman: (lengthy explanation of what Uncle Harold, Cousin Jimmy and Great Aunt Sue Ellen are bringing to supposed party.)

Man: So, no one is bringing chips?

Woman: (repeated lengthy discourse of what kind of wings Grandpa Joe is making and bringing.)

Man: (now looking quite dejected) It just doesn't seem like the Super Bowl without any chips.

Half of you are thinking, "I hope this poor coug fan got his chips!" The other half are shocked that I actually leave the house and go to such glamorous places like Hobby Lobby. Believe it.

Ha, ha. Funny things you hear in line at the store. Your Mom dropped by tonight for a while and we had a great visit and it was GREAT to see her!
